At the first sight, it may sound this is ridiculous. Why? Because they have different goals. Yes, Six Sigma has as one of its goal to reduce the process variation while Agile is for not using defined process control.
It is a while since I shared with you some thoughts with you in What is DevOps post. Now I restart writing about DevOps, since it is a trending movement around the world. So, let's begin with the start.
To DMAIC or not to DMAIC? This is the question!
This acronym is known from Six Sigma, for the Define - Measure - Analyze - Improve - Control operations, as part of the Six Sigma projects. Anyway, it is not exclusive to Six Sigma and it can be used for other improvement applications.
If you already run (or plan to run) a Startup business, you should probably know that there are a few fundamental processes to DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Though this appears like Six Sigma, it is not.
