Maybe now it is time to move further: and take a look over the Lean principles, along with those from Six Sigma.
As you probably know, in the 80s Motorola introduced Six Sigma, which has the origins in Follow the Defects, instead of the yield. This will help people to concentrate and solve the problems of the final result in a more proficient way.
The second set of values of this article, Lean, has its origins in Follow the Waste; this means that we should focus more on what exactly to do. This is also an Agile value, trying to deliver best possible business value using a predefined set of resources.
