When trying to link two concepts which apparently have nothing in common, we can actually reach an incredible best result. I think this is the case for Six Sigma in Project Management, too.
What is Project Management? According to Wikipedia, "Project management is the process and activity of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources, procedures and protocols to achieve specific goals in scientific or daily problems.".
What is Six Sigma? According to Wikipedia, "Six Sigma is a set of techniques and tools for process improvement.". Knowing these, it's obviously that the set from Six Sigma can be applied over Project Management theory. So, when combining them, we will achieve new levels of discipline and comprehensive commitment. For additional thoughts on these two areas, please read this article.
